Aumed Coming Back From CSUN 2012
2012 California State University, Northridge (CSUN) Center on Disabilities Annual International Technology and Persons with Disabilities Conference was a really big deal. It is a gathering of people and ideas unlike any other in the world.

Between Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon, the Aumed team participated in over 20 CSUN sessions where exhibitors shared their passions and research to support individuals of varying ages and abilities in creating a more accessible, functional, and interactive world. Coming from China, our mission is to provide the hope and good solution for no matter children or their family members who are affected by low vision.

At CSUN we were reminded that people all over the world are affected by visional impairment as well as other disabilities, such as cognitive, motor, and hearing impairments that will affect their lives through the life hood. The single factor that brought these people, their families, and educators to the CSUN conference was their desire to learn more about how technology can play a role in their lives for the better. Everyone has their opinions about what technology means to them and whether it makes our lives better or worse, but from what information we gathered at CSUN, We’re going to go ahead and say it – technology makes our lives better…We are proud that we have access to it and know how to motivate this into application for our low vision friends!
